The 财政援助办事处 of “大学 st和s with our Black students, classified professionals, faculty, administrators 和 members of our community in condemning racial injustice, institutionalized racism, 和 inequalities for all marginalized 社区.

Racism 和 discrimination of any kind have no place in our 社区 or on our campus.  Our office is taking time to reflect on our own roles 和 opportunities to further our awareness of racial injustices 和 inequities, our own unconscious biases, 和 what we can do to affect positive change.

The 财政援助办事处 is here for our Black students, 和 wants to provide them with available resources to support their holistic needs, in addition to financial 援助的支持. We want students to have the financial resources to succeed in their education, 和 know that they are valued members of our community. 我们渴望成为 a place on campus 和 for the community where all people are not simply welcomed, but appreciated 和 celebrated.

The 财政援助办事处 at “大学 st和s with our Asian, Asian-American 和 Pacific Isl和er (AAPI) students, classified professionals, faculty, administrators 和 members of our community. We condemn hate, violence 和 targeted attacks against people of Asian-descent, especially in the wake of the global p和emic.

AAPI 社区 have recently 和 throughout history experienced exclusion, violence 和 institutionalized oppression that continue today as we have seen with the recent murders of 6 women of Asian-descent in Georgia. We send our condolences to the friends 和 loved ones of the victims of these horrific attacks across the country 和 in 大湾区. Anti-Asian attacks have no place in our 社区 和 at our campus.
